| | I just found an old notebook where I had started compiling a list of 101 goals to accomplish in 1001 days. That 1001 was done on March 2 of this year. Although I didn't end up with 101 goals, I thought I'd walk through them. Several of these I have accomplished. Others I haven't. And still others are completely stupid. hehe.
1. Get a driver's license. (Yes! After much trauma, chaos, and working it through with God, this awful, terrible, no-good, very bad goal can be crossed off this list!)
2. Finish reading the Bible. (I still haven't read it all the way through. Or at least not straight through. I'm sure I've read it all, just not in order. I started in earnest in September 2007, and now I'm in Nehemiah. Heh. I move slowly. God said a lot to me during Deuteronomy and 1 Samuel, so I had to keep stopping.)
3. Travel out of the country. (Not yet, not yet... SOME DAY! I have a passport now, so that's one less thing to worry about in the process.)
4. Meet Dani. (Wow, this list is ages old. Yes, I have met Dani, and it was marvelous, and I can't wait until I get to see her again some day!)
5. Finish compiling "calm" playlist. (I haven't the faintest idea whether I finished this or not. This is a very low-reaching goal. heh.)
6. Write a skit the drama team performs. (Now, come on, I DID write that terrible, terrible robot skit back in 10th grade... But more recently I also wrote the distraction one. It was less terrible but still could have used oodles more fine-tuning.)
7. Work with NLDC. (Haha... See, this was a goal of mine for AGES!  And now I have accomplished it, and it was marvelous.
8. Share my faith with someone I know. (I hadn't done this at that point?!? Oh my. Well, I certainly have now.
9. See The Last 5 Years. (Not yet... *sniff*)
10. Meet ApologetiX. (Haha... back in the days when they were the only Christian band I listened to. Now I listen to a couple more but not them anymore.)
11. Get PJ to host an ApologetiX concert at the church. (Yeah, not really a priority anymore.)
12. Get something published. (Not quite yet! But I'm really rather proud of my last novel, so we shall see...)
13. Travel by boat. (Uh... Not yet. And it's not really on my list anymore.)
14. Watch every Disney cartoon available. (Not quite yet, although I've made more dents in the list. Note that I've said "available" so I don't have to be stuck never completing it because of Song of the South.)
15. Buy a laptop. (Well, technically I've still never bought one... but I own one, and apparently I thought this was good enough, because I had crossed it out in the notebook.)
16. Publish my randomized scripts on Lulu. (LOL! I think that was just so I could have my own not-on-the-computer copy of it. Some day I may have to do that. Although I will forbid others from buying them because they are nonsense.)
17. Get a celebrity's autograph. (Not quite yet.)
18. Be certified bilingual. (Still a goal, but hasn't happened yet.)
19. Revamp URLSCDs completely. (I *do* need to do that. But I haven't. I should. I should start now.)
20. Do a director's commentary for Family Ties... (Oh, goodness, that was ages ago. I always thought that would be fun but never actually did it.)
21. Have 20 or more subscribers to the Elmo blog. (I should actually update that. It appears I have... no subscriptions. LOL. Poor, poor Elmo. That's what his next poem should be about.)
22. Own all Norbert CDs. (Yup, I'm pretty sure I have everything he's done. Even Thou Shalt Not. Next up: Catch Me If You Can, whenever released!)
23. Type up lyrics for my showtunes. (That is a massive project that gets massiver every year.)
24. Begin walking. (Yes! I've done it! Years later, but I've done it! I'm still struggling with being faithful in this, but I'm going walking once or twice a week. Good for me. Gets me up and moving.)
25. Try all different kinds of cheese. (Well, er, I haven't tried them ALL yet.)
26. Work at Circa '21. (Hahaha... not even a goal anymore.)
27. Learn at least a little bit to play the piano. (Definitely want to do that some day still.)
28. Have another online birthday party. (Oh, yes. I have had several since then.)
29. Get a cell phone. (I've gone through a couple.)
30. Get cool showtunes ring tones for my cell phone. (LOL... Yup, done this as well!)
31. Learn to like coffee. (Yeah... tried this winter tour. Totally didn't happen. So now it's not a priority. Sorry, Carissa.)
32. Watch 200 more movies. (I have certainly done that in the past couple years. I watched 179 in 2007 alone.)
33. Fly somewhere with a friend. (Have I flown anywhere with someone? No. No, I have not.)
34. Go on a road trip with friends. (My life from 2007-2008 was one big long road trip with friends.)
35. Learn to do some kind of dance. (I can do the Resist the Devil dance and the Hello In There dance. Does that count? No.)
36. Sell stuff on eBay. (I haven't sold much, but I've sold a few things.)
37. Do a "Greatest Hits" exchange. (No, but I still like the idea.)
38. Get a new nickname. (I have no idea if I've gotten a new nickname since then. Oh, wait. Yes, I have.)
39. Try a weird ice cream flavor. (Not too weird yet.)
40. Collect and create URLSCDs completely. (...Did I not realize they would NEVER be completed? LOL... There are always more to be made!)
41. Work in a video store. (Alas, no.)
42. Work in a library. (Alas, no)
43. Ride in a glass elevator. (Yes! Or glassish.)
44. Ride in a taxi. (Not yet.)
And that was all. Goal 45 should've been to write more goals.
